SOS: No Currency Found on Timbu.com

Just the other day, I was going through the HNG internship 5 slack channel when this notification came in. Before this, I was part of the over 760 persons that made it to stage 1 of the internship. There was a new task to be completed as soon as possible. The task was to find and report any bug found on www.timbu.com. Timbu is an online directory for tourism, visa, travels etc.

If you are still new here, a bug in software development means an anomaly in the behaviour, structure, style and responsiveness of a website. It could be a broken link, a misspelt word, a large image taking too long to load.

After so much time figuring out a bug, I finally found one. Phew! Software testers sure do have a lot of work to do. I found out that the currency logo when viewing the website on mobile does not display properly for example here →https://timbu.com/italy/rooms/rome. A visitor is unable to detect the currency of the price of the hotel rooms.

This is my bug finding story.
